Jenny shares with us her insight and how the Book of Mormon has helped her overcome challenges:
Over a year ago, I was diagnosed with anxiety, OCD, and depression. My days are often filled with overwhelming guilt, the inability to concentrate, and lack of motivation. In times like these, I frequently turn to close friends, family, unhealthy food and sleep to help me through. These things fill the void in my heart for a limited amount of time, but I have learned that a more powerful remedy is the Book of Mormon.
Professor Dumbledore said, "Words are, in my not-so-humble opinion, our most inexhaustible source of magic.”
The words of the Book of Mormon are more powerful than any others. Magic doesn’t even to begin to describe what happens when consistently read this book. A task so simple, yet ridiculously potent – much like a flick of a magic wand or the whisper of a spell. As I open the pages of this sacred book, I can feel the spirit cutting through my seemingly numb heart to energize and bless me. I needn’t read one verse, and I can already feel the love of Jesus Christ healing my wounds and encouraging me to choose faith.
I know the Book of Mormon is the word of God. It has healed and strengthened me in critical times of need. It is the truest of all books and brings me closer to God more than any other book. Every verse testifies of Christ. I will cling to it as a wizard clings to his wand.

What is the Book of Mormon?
The Book of Mormon is like the Bible. Its' stories and words confirm that Jesus Christ is who He said He was: the Son of God, the One who died for my sins.
Growing up, my Grandma called it "God's Recipe Book for Good Living." I love that! That is what it has become for me, a guide for my life to live by.
It is a collection of writings (like lots of journals), of people who had experiences with God guiding their lives. They wrote down their experiences, and eventually a man named Mormon compiled everything into one book. Hence the title, The Book of Mormon.
The fact that these people lived in Ancient North and South America is secondary to that which they testify. Jesus Christ is the Savior of the World. And that is the purpose of the book, to confirm the Biblical truth of Christ's divinity.
For years this record was hidden in the ground (like a time capsule), until Joseph Smith was guided to it by God, and he translated it by the Power of God into English.
This book has changed my life for the better! I'd love to share it with you.
